About Amanda

Amanda Westfall is a communications strategist and writer with over 15 years of experience helping organizations and communities tell stories that matter. She has led behavior change and advocacy projects for UNICEF, the World Food Programme, and other global institutions — managing campaigns across Africa, Latin America, and Europe, and transforming complex ideas into messages that move people to act. As Director at Rain Barrel Communications, she led social behavior change and digital strategies worldwide, and now channels this expertise through Ninu Digital, her behavior change studio focused on the Americas.

Now based in Buenos Aires, Amanda consults for UNICEF, Rain Barrel, and other organizations, building clear, purpose-driven communication strategies and managing projects and teams — all while raising a very energetic two-year-old who keeps her storytelling skills sharp every day.

Alongside her consultancy work, Amanda is an author whose narrative nonfiction and fiction explore the raw edges of human experience. Her memoir Gut Love follows an international journey through guilt, love, and self-discovery. She is now writing Becoming Mercurius, a mystical series weaving transformation, alchemy, and ancient wisdom into a modern, immersive story.

Amanda holds a Master’s in International Development and a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Sciences. She works in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of French and Portuguese.
